Customer's reviews

We had such a great experience at the Lotus Silk Farm! It was fascinating to see the entire process up close and learn how much patience, skill, and craftsmanship goes into making lotus silk. Seeing how the delicate fibers are extracted and transformed by hand really made us appreciate how special this traditional craft is. A big part of what made the visit so enjoyable was our amazing guide, Luna. She was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. She explained every step clearly, answered all our questions, and made the tour feel personal, relaxed, and fun. We learned a lot, had a wonderful time, and left with a completely new appreciation for lotus silk. Definitely worth a visit — and if you get Luna as your guide, you’re in great hands! Thank you, Luna! ~ Mario K
This was one of the best tours I have ever done. The process of using every part of the lotus is so interesting! We were offered lovely lotus tea, followed by a chance to make our own Lotus fibre thread, beautiful paper with flower petals and bracelets. This was followed by the most magical boat ride through the lotus fields. Lunch followed - a menu entirely showcasing the lotus: stems, petals, fruit and even honey-toasted stamens topping the lotus Icecream. The staff were generous with information and time, attentive and hugely committed to the whole enterprise. A magical day, thank you so much, and to SreyNeth who took so much time to explain local fruits, flowers and lotus ice-cream making process, and to Sumin who was a brilliant guide to the lotus-processing introduction! ~ Eleanor R
Monk Blessings on Lotus Lake. Visiting Lotus Farm was one of the highlights of my trip. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, and it was fascinating to learn how lotus stems are transformed into beautiful handmade fabric. The guided tour was informative, and the peaceful surroundings made the experience even more enjoyable. The boat ride through the lotus ponds was relaxing and perfect for taking photos. I also loved trying the lotus tea and other lotus-inspired products. It’s a wonderful place to learn about Cambodian culture while supporting local artisans and sustainable craftsmanship. I highly recommend Lotus Farm to anyone visiting Siem Reap. It’s a unique, authentic, and memorable experience that is well worth the visit! ~ Chandara C
